Local MP Abena Oppong-Asare Visits Us
21 Nov 2025Willow Bank Primary School Welcomes Local MP Abena Oppong-Asare We were delighted to welcome our local MP, Abena Oppong-Asare, to our school. The visit was arranged following letters written by our Year 6 pupils about conservation concerns surrounding Southmere Lake. This provided a valuable opportunity to explore British Values in action, including the democratic process and the rule of law, as well as inspiring our children to consider how they might one day play a role in shaping their community- even as future Members of Parliament!
